## What the amendments focus on

This dossier concerns extending the European statistical programme 2013-2017 to 2020. The amendments revise recitals stressing reliable European statistics for evaluating Union policies under the Europe 2020 strategy, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Agreement, the development of ecosystem accounts, climate-change and agricultural statistics, cooperation between Eurostat and national statistical institutes, and a financial envelope of EUR 70 million.
