## What the amendments focus on

This dossier is a recast of the European Electronic Communications Code. Amendments rework the definition of a 'very high capacity network' around optical fibre elements and performance criteria such as available down- and uplink bandwidth, resilience, error-related parameters and latency, and add provisions on Member States ensuring universal access to media content for media pluralism and cultural diversity.
