## What the amendments focus on

An own-initiative report assessing the European Union Solidarity Fund. The amendments revise provisions on the Fund's response to disasters, the 2014 revision of its regulation, advance payments capped at EUR 30 million, the long time between application and payment, the eligibility threshold for regional disasters set at 1.5% of regional GDP at NUTS 2 level, with calls to lower it, the carry-over of unused funds, and Court of Auditors findings.
