## What the amendments focus on

A report on an EU strategy on heating and cooling. The amendments stress the sector's share of EU energy demand, district heating, energy efficiency and renovation of buildings, wasted industrial heat, the share of fossil fuels, technology-neutral and market-based incentives in the transition to a low-carbon energy supply, heat pumps and geothermal energy, energy labelling, and linking heat and power production, industrial processes, waste management and demand-side management.
