## What the amendments focus on

An own-initiative report on an EU strategy for liquefied natural gas (LNG) and gas storage. The amendments debate how energy security should be achieved, ranging from coordination of national energy policies to building an Energy Union and single market, address energy as a basic good and energy poverty, and discuss avoiding dependence on a single supplier, new gas nodes and LNG storage, and links between energy and climate policy.
