# Annual report 2015 on the protection of the EU's financial interests - Fight against fraud

## What the amendments focus on

The own-initiative report is the annual report 2015 on protection of the EU's financial interests and the fight against fraud. The amendments address shared responsibility of Member States and the Commission for the Union budget, reported fraudulent and non-fraudulent irregularities and the sums involved, VAT fraud including carousel (MTIC) fraud and the VAT gap, corruption, the role and resources of OLAF, and timely reporting of data by Member States.
