## What the amendments focus on

This annual report covers control of the financial activities of the European Investment Bank for 2015. The amendments address consistency of EIB-financed activities with the Europe 2020 strategy and the Investment Plan for Europe, the role of the European Investment Fund and the European Fund for Strategic Investments in supporting SMEs, safeguards against fraud, money laundering and terrorist financing, transparency and governance, and a more harmonised annual report.
