## What the amendments focus on

This is the annual report of the activities of the Committee on Petitions for 2015. Amendments discuss the right to petition and citizens' awareness of it, admissibility of petitions, the Committee's dialogue with citizens, the Commission's replies, participatory democracy, and references to events such as the United Kingdom situation, the refugee crisis and the financial crisis affecting confidence in the European project.
