## What the amendments focus on

Legislative proposal on macro-financial assistance to Moldova. The amendments revise recitals on Moldova's economy, political instability, a banking fraud scandal, a Roadmap for Priority Reforms agreed between the EU and Moldova, restoring a sustainable external financing situation, coordination with the European External Action Service, and conditioning assistance on respect for democratic mechanisms, the rule of law and human rights.
