## What the amendments focus on

This dossier concerns financial contributions to the Bio-based Industries Joint Undertaking. The amendments address amending the Statutes so the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC) and its constituent entities can deliver financial contributions, including as payments to indirect actions, public consultation and transparency, cost-benefit analysis and Commission reports, collaboration with stakeholders including SMEs, research centres and universities, the Scientific Committee, and the public-private partnership and rural development objectives.
