## What the amendments focus on

This legislative dossier concerns a pan-European personal pension product (PEPP). Amendments dispute the proposal itself, with some demanding the Commission withdraw it and instead strengthen public, pay-as-you-go and occupational pension pillars, while others develop a PEPP portability service letting savers continue contributing when changing their Member State of residence, define rules on national compartments and providers, and add recitals on demographic and ageing challenges.
