## What the amendments focus on

Legislative dossier on the internal market in natural gas: gas pipelines to and from third countries. The amendments, including repeated rejections of the Commission proposal, call for a stakeholder consultation and an impact assessment under 'better regulation' criteria, and concern obstacles to completing the internal market in natural gas from non-application of Union rules and derogations from provisions of the gas Directive for Member States.
