## What the amendments focus on

The dossier addresses gender equality in EU trade agreements. The amendments tie trade policy to Sustainable Development Goal 5 and women's empowerment, call for gender-sensitive trade and investment policy, Sustainability Impact Assessments with a gender indicator, ex-ante and ex-post analysis, and attention to women farmers in the Global South and to the public provision of social services.
