## What the amendments focus on

The dossier concerns the implementation of EU macro-regional strategies. The amendments focus on environmental and biodiversity aspects of the four strategies for the Baltic Sea, Danube, Adriatic and Ionian, and Alpine regions, call for use of Natura 2000 and Emerald networks, the LIFE programme, ESI Funds, the CAP and the European Fund for Strategic Investments, maritime spatial planning, and address marine litter and pollution in the Adriatic-Ionian region.
