## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report preparing Parliament's position on the EU's multiannual financial framework (MFF) after 2020. The amendments debate whether the MFF should strengthen cohesion, sustainable growth and contributory solidarity to counter disparities between countries and regions, versus framing foreign policy as a Member State competence; they also dispute funding levels for the EU Global Strategy, the European Neighbourhood policy, development aid and security.
