## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report on women, gender equality and climate justice. The amendments stress that climate change's impacts fall disproportionately on poor countries and poor people, and on rural women in developing countries dependent on natural resources for food, water and fuel, link climate change to migration, environmental degradation and food security, and call for women's effective participation in climate decision-making and international negotiations.
