## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report on the implementation of the Ecodesign Directive. Amendments stress harmonised standards and real-life test protocols, the role of SMEs and market surveillance authorities, consistency with chemicals and waste legislation, critical raw materials and substances of concern, a possible product passport, circular economy and energy efficiency, and reference the Paris Agreement and Council conclusions on eco-innovation.
