## What the amendments focus on

Decision on the 2016 discharge for the EU general budget, section European Council and Council. Amendments refuse to grant the Secretary-General of the Council discharge, regret that the Council has not replied to Parliament's earlier observations, raise the European Ombudsman's report on transparency of the Council legislative process, the cost of the Europa building, the United Kingdom's decision to withdraw, performance-based budgeting, and the impasse in the discharge procedure between Parliament and Council.
