## What the amendments focus on

Annual report on the control of the financial activities of the European Investment Bank for 2016. Amendments recall that 10% of EIB lending goes to operations outside the Union and call for a methodology, with the EEAS and DG DEVCO, to measure development impact, urge the EIB to refrain from financing heavily polluting technologies, and address SMEs' access to finance and the lack of foreign direct investment support towards Asia.
