# State of EU-US relations

## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report addresses the state of EU-US relations. Amendments revise recitals on the transatlantic partnership and shared values, the Trump Administration's 'America first' policy and withdrawal from agreements such as the Paris climate agreement and the JCPOA, and the CAATSA sanctions law and Nord Stream 2. Others reference NATO, multilateralism and the United Nations, the rise of China, EU strategic autonomy, and the Western Balkans.
