# Implementation of the EU association agreement with Moldova

## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report concerns implementation of the EU association agreement with Moldova. Amendments stress the Association Agreement and Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area, express concern over backsliding in democratic standards, electoral reform, the invalidation of elections and removal of officials, the 2014 bank fraud and corruption, and discuss the suspension of macro-financial assistance and EU budget support linked to non-fulfilment of political conditions.
