## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report on implementation of the EU association agreement with Georgia. Amendments welcome progress implementing the Association Agreement and Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA), call on Georgian authorities to ensure stability, democratic reforms, an independent judiciary and economic improvement, reference Georgia's sovereignty, the breakaway regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, the Eastern Partnership, Article 49 TEU and the Copenhagen criteria, anti-corruption efforts and EU financial assistance.
