## What the amendments focus on

A regulation on European crowdfunding service providers (ECSP) for business. The amendments define crowdfunding actors and services, address cross-border provision and the internal market and Capital Markets Union, set thresholds for crowdfunding offers and retail investors, treat initial coin offerings (ICOs), tokens and distributed ledger or blockchain technology, and cover investor protection, conflicts of interest, and money laundering and terrorist financing risks.
