## What the amendments focus on

A legislative proposal on unfair trading practices in business-to-business relationships in the food supply chain. Amendments define buyers, suppliers and unfair trading practices, prohibit conduct such as late cancellation of perishable orders, unilateral changes to supply agreements, below-cost selling and reverse auctions, and set out complaint rights for suppliers and producer organisations addressed to national enforcement authorities, including for suppliers established outside the Union.
