## What the amendments focus on

The dossier establishes a framework to facilitate sustainable investment and sustainable finance. Amendments add social objectives alongside environmental ones, reference the European Pillar of Social Rights, the Commission's Action Plan 'Financing Sustainable Growth' and the High-Level Expert Group, and define substantial contribution to climate change mitigation, the transition to a circular economy with waste prevention, recycling and reuse, protection of ecosystems, and balance between environmental, social and governance dimensions.
