## What the amendments focus on

Non-legislative dossier on the Euratom research and training programme 2021-2025. Amendments rework recitals and provisions on continuing nuclear research at Community level to improve nuclear safety, security and radiation protection, the limited co-decision and consultation role of the European Parliament under the Euratom Treaty, fusion energy, radioactive waste management and decommissioning, the impact of the United Kingdom's withdrawal, synergies with Horizon Europe, gender equality, and the role of the JRC.
