## What the amendments focus on

This dossier concerns implementation of the EC/Cote d'Ivoire Sustainable Fisheries Partnership Agreement for 2018-2024. The amendments would limit EU vessels' access to surplus resources without exceeding maximum sustainable yield, direct the financial contribution and sectoral support toward the national, particularly artisanal, fishing sector, reinforce monitoring, control and surveillance against illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing, prioritise employment for Ivorian seamen, and improve conditions for women fish smokers.
