## What the amendments focus on

The dossier is an own-initiative report on dual quality of products in the single market. Amendments revise recitals on differences in the composition and quality of products marketed under the same brand across Member States, their potential effects on consumers' health through fat and sugar levels, misleading commercial practices, food safety and labelling, and consumer protection.
