## What the amendments focus on

An own-initiative report on the future of food and farming. The amendments tie the Common Agricultural Policy to Policy Coherence for Development, the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda, and address food security in developing countries, sustainable and agro-ecological production, climate change, livestock overproduction and dependence on imported protein crops such as soy from third countries.
