A legislative-initiative report on the expedited settlement of commercial disputes. The amendments invoke the right to a fair trial under the Charter and the European Convention on Human Rights, the Brussels I and Rome I and Rome II Regulations and the European small claims procedure, and propose a voluntary European Expedited Civil Procedure for cross-border business-to-business disputes, specialised commercial chambers, and harmonised standard forms in all EU languages.
