## What the amendments focus on

An annual report on the implementation of the common foreign and security policy. The amendments describe the EU's volatile security environment since the Cold War, the impact of external action on citizens, demographic projections and growth in Africa, the rise of China, the US and India as economic powers, the influence of non-state actors and globalised interdependence, fragile states, and the difficulties of conducting one foreign policy across member states.
