## What the amendments focus on

An own-initiative annual report on the control of the financial activities of the European Investment Bank. The amendments revise provisions on the EIB's support for competitiveness, jobs, SMEs and climate projects, calls to end support for fossil-fuel projects, lending to Mediterranean Partner Countries, transparency towards Parliament and Member States, corruption and fraud risks, the Volkswagen emissions case, hydropower lending, and arrangements regarding the UK's shareholding.
