## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report examines the Council's annual report on the EU Code of Conduct on arms exports. Amendments reference Common Position 2008/944/CFSP and its eight criteria, the COARM reporting process, human-rights concerns, and arms exported to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and others used in the Yemen conflict, while also noting states' right to self-defence and the European defence industry, the European Defence Fund and EDIDP.
