## What the amendments focus on

This dossier concerns implementation of the Protocol to the EC/Cape Verde Fisheries Partnership Agreement for 2019-2024. The amendments stress sustainable fisheries and the blue economy, SDG 14, reducing bycatch, support for small-scale local fisheries, port infrastructure and the role of women and young people, monitoring and surveillance against illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing, scientific data, reference tonnage, and added value remaining in Cape Verde.
