## What the amendments focus on

A report on the guidelines for the 2020 EU budget, Section III. The amendments frame the 2020 budget as a bridge to the 2021-2027 multiannual financial framework, debate payment appropriations, reform of own resources and political priorities, and stress innovation and research, the transition from Horizon 2020 to Horizon Europe, the European Fund for Strategic Investments, decentralised agencies, Schengen and external borders, the Sustainable Development Goals and gender equality.
