## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative annual report on the situation of fundamental rights in the European Union for 2018-2019. Amendments address women's and girls' equal rights, sexual and reproductive health and rights and family planning, condemn a backlash against gender equality in several Member States, raise honour violence and discrimination against Roma, and regret that the proposed 2008 Equal Treatment Directive remains blocked in Council; several entries are deletions or references to the Charter of Fundamental Rights and the UN 2030 Agenda.
