## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report is a recommendation in preparation for the 2020 review of the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons Treaty, nuclear arms control and disarmament. The amendments cite the NPT, the new START Treaty, the INF Treaty, the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons and the Budapest Memorandum, and address lack of progress on disarmament, modernisation of arsenals, Russia's conduct toward Ukraine, the Korean Peninsula, the JCPOA, and multilateral diplomacy.
