## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report concerns the employment and social policies of the euro area for 2020. The amendments revise recitals on the forecast contraction of EU and euro-area GDP and the COVID-19 crisis, addressing the European Pillar of Social Rights, gender pay and employment gaps, telework and flexible working, the European Child Guarantee, free movement of workers, the European Semester and revision of the Stability and Growth Pact.
