## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report concerns EU-Taiwan political relations and cooperation. The amendments revise citations and recitals on China's military belligerence against Taiwan and stability in the Taiwan Strait and Indo-Pacific, Taiwan's role in semiconductor and high-tech supply chains, its handling of the coronavirus, EU and Taiwanese foreign direct investment, and recommend upgrading political relations and preparing an impact assessment on a Bilateral Investment Agreement, under the EU's One-China policy.
