## What the amendments focus on

This own-initiative report concerns the borrowing strategy to finance Next Generation EU, the Union's Recovery instrument. The amendments describe NGEU as the EU's first common borrowing programme managed by the Commission, with repayment scheduled to 2058; they address green-bond issuance and greenwashing, bonds, bills and maturities, the Primary Dealers' Network, the Market Abuse Regulation, rising interest rates and inflation, the ECB's role, and effects on EU capital markets.
