## What the amendments focus on

Own-initiative report on the 2021 Commission Report on Albania. The amendments address Albania's EU accession and enlargement process, conditions for the first intergovernmental conference, the rule of law, democracy, the fight against corruption and protection of minorities, firearms trafficking and illegal weapons in the Western Balkans, foreign interference and disinformation, pre-accession financial assistance, and alignment with EU foreign policy including sanctions on Russia.
