## What the amendments focus on

This dossier sets Union rules on packaging and packaging waste. The amendments revise recitals on making packaging reusable or recyclable, reducing packaging waste and the use of plastic, design for recycling and recycled content, the agri-food and food-contact sector, limiting substances of concern and heavy metals, and delegated acts setting criteria per packaging material.
