## What the amendments focus on

The amendments revise the supervision of CCPs, the role and powers of ESMA, supervisory colleges and joint supervisory teams, authorisation and withdrawal procedures, on-site inspections, the role of central banks of issue and the Commission, concentration and systemic risks in client clearing, and a Joint Monitoring Mechanism.
