## What the amendments focus on

The dossier concerns economic, social and territorial cohesion in the EU in the 8th Cohesion Report. The amendments emphasise farmers and the agri-food sector, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, energy and food crises and climate change on rural and less-developed regions, and call for complementarity between cohesion and CAP funds, support for small family farms, the energy transition and the polluter-pays principle.
