## What the amendments focus on

An own-initiative report on implementing the "passerelle" clauses in the EU Treaties. The amendments focus on unanimity voting in the Council on taxation, the general passerelle clauses under Article 48(7) of the Treaty on European Union and a possible move to qualified majority voting under Articles 113 and 115 TFEU, the misuse of national vetoes, and proposals such as the CCCTB, DEBRA and BEFIT; some support this, others oppose it.
