## What the amendments focus on

The dossier concerns the Union's electricity market design. The amendments revise definitions including market revenue, surplus revenue and revenue caps, solidarity contribution, flexibility and metering devices, and day-ahead and intraday markets; they address transmission system operators and NEMOs, affordable energy and a just transition, surplus-revenue caps, and include numerous deletions.
