## What the amendments focus on

The dossier sets retail investor protection rules. The amendments rework the treatment of third-party payments or inducements paid to investment firms, insurance undertakings and intermediaries, the independent-advice and Value for Money requirements, product governance, costs and charges disclosure, financial literacy, and reporting on conflicts of interest for retail investors and customers.
