## What the amendments focus on

This dossier amends certain directives as regards digitalisation and common specifications (Omnibus IV). Amendments move declarations of conformity and product instructions to electronic format while preserving a right to paper instructions for vulnerable consumers, define a 'digital contact' for manufacturers, introduce simplified 'SME templates' and technical help desks, address common specifications versus harmonised standards, and grant micro-enterprises and SMEs extra time to comply.
