## What the amendments focus on

This dossier concerns increasing the efficiency of the External Action Guarantee. The amendments contest its purpose, from poverty eradication and human development under Article 208 TFEU to conditioning aid on partner countries' cooperation on migration and prioritising European taxpayers, and reference the EFSD+, the Global Gateway, the Draghi report on private-sector involvement and securing raw materials and clean energy, the Republic of Moldova, rule of law and anti-corruption, and countering China and Russia.
