# Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan

## What the amendments focus on

This is an own-initiative report on Europe's Beating Cancer Plan. The amendments address prevention and risk factors including smoking, alcohol, pollution, diet and physical activity, screening, HPV and hepatitis vaccination, and gender inequalities in cancer care. They call for tobacco and nicotine regulation and a Tobacco-Free Generation, sustained EU4Health and research funding, the European Health Data Space, Comprehensive Cancer Centres, support for the oncology workforce and carers, and rare-cancer access.
